Probability submitted for approval

The second Yayphone.com iPhone application - "Probability" - has now been uploaded to the App Store for approval.

The Probability application allows for easy probability computations directly in your iPhone or iPod Touch. If you enter the number of trials and the probability of success for a given trial the application will compute the likelihood of observing a certain number of successful outcomes.

Example application: Assume that the probability of converting a sales call to a successful sale is 50 %. If ten sales calls are made, what is the probability of obtaining only four or less conversions from these ten calls? The Probability application gives you the answer (37.7 %).

Hopefully it'll show up in the App Store mid next week.

The iPhone application "Week Number" has been submitted for approval

The first Yayphone.com iPhone application has now been submitted for approval to the iPhone App Store/iTunes Connect.

The application, "Week Number", is a really simple one but useful nevertheless: it simply shows the current week number which is a feature the iPhone calendar lacks.

Hopefully it will show up in the iPhone App Store within a couple of days.
